This is junk - ZERO Stars. Plugged it in, downloaded the 64 bit EyeTV4 software as per instructions. Dragged the app to apps folder. Tried to start the EyeTV4 64 bit app. Crashed right away! Downloaded “reporter tool”. “Reporter tool” Uninstalled the app and deleted whatever preferences the 64 bit app made. It still crashes. Right out of the box totally and completely unusable on a M4 Mac Mini.As far as build quality, much different from years ago. Straight away there isn’t any composite or SVHS in, and the RF connector is recessed. With the included adapter you can connect a standard RG6 F connector, without the included adapter, the dongle would be useless. The antenna too would be useless as ATSC signals are not robust enough to be received by an antenna of that size. If this could work, it would need to be connected to an outdoor antenna.This device is not at all compatible with M4 Macs. This overall is not the same caliber of product as the EyeTV of yesteryear. This is flea market junk quality with a crap app.
